Theme: Argha-Tirtha-Sidhi, (Energy of Water and Related Creative Prospects)

All the issues of the availability and quality of the sea and land water are expected to be the basis on which the seminar participants create physical artworks or bring forward ideas to be implemented. It is well-known that artists and creative intellectuals are worried by the condition of rivers and lakes, and above all, the sea water is a basic issue for the future of humanity. We believe scientists, artists, and creative intellectuals can come forward with original ideas and creations, and who knows? Generate the dynamics that may contribute to solving the issue. In Balinese tradition, ancestors are said to become “water” (toya); when they reincarnate, they become “water drops” (titisan/warih) or “dew” (damuh). This concept shows that the symbolic system of the island is closely related to the ecology of Bali, the prosperity of which rests on mountain lakes and a sophisticated irrigation system
