The purpose of this research is to analyze the evolution of the advertising industry in disruption era. Therefore, the problem of this study was about shifting in the advertising industry faced in this era. The research method uses qualitative with grounded theory methodology by collecting various data that support research. The result of this study indicate that advertising was dominated by conventional media has been replaced by social media that uses public space to disseminate news voluntarily.
